Kharkiv National Medical University keeps working remotely and quarantine measures are being observed. National and international students, who stay in student hostels during the quarantine period, require special attention.

More than 600 international students reside in three student hostels, where a strict pass control has been introduced during quarantine. People who do not reside in KhNMU student hostels are barred from visiting them.

In accordance with the order “About the suspension of the educational process in KhNMU”, the work of duty men has been initiated in every hostel, who are responsible for carrying out sanitation and epidemic prevention measures. This includes wet cleaning of premises with the use of disinfectants as well as airing of the rooms.

160 liters of hand disinfectants and disinfectants for surface treatment have been purchased; 3 more washing machines have been set down. All the students are provided with soap and face masks.

Remote thermometry is being carried out for all the residents and workers of the hostel. The University authorities are in twenty-four-hour contact with students; they explain and monitor how the quarantine regime is being achieved.
