Kharkiv National Medical University can always boast of creative and purposeful students. Because they keep up with the times and come up with more and more new and interesting ideas. Therefore, based on the unity of their interests, in order to improve the quality of student life, leisure and education, they created a public organization - "Student Government of KhNMU". A very important aspect is that this organization plays a leading role in the relationship between the university administration and students.
The organization of Student Government deals with a number of issues, such as: the organization of physical culture, promotion of healthy lifestyles, international exchange between students at KhNMU and foreign students, prevents the commission of offenses by students at the university. It also contributes to the improvement of the educational process and the formation of an active civil position among students studying at KhNMU, in particular, the volunteer movement. Protects the rights and interests of students and improves the living and recreation conditions of students.
KhNMU values students with various talents, so the development of creative activities, the publication of student printed and electronic publications and the creation of student groups, societies, associations, interest clubs and coordination of their activities are an integral part of the Student Government. |

The public association contributes to the information and sociological surveys of students, because today a clear and subjective position of each of us is extremely important.
In addition, "Student Self-Government of KhNMU" has the following areas of its activities:
• promoting the development of medicine in Ukraine;
• promotion of cultural development of students, organization of leisure for persons studying at KhNMU;
• promoting the involvement of students in creative and research work;
• promoting cooperation and exchange of experience with students in other higher education institutions and youth organizations, including foreign and international;
• providing informational, legal, psychological assistance to students (together with relevant services)
• formation of a single information training space; promoting the transparency of all aspects of life, learning process through the media;
